Amazon Prime Store Card

If you’re a big-time spender on Amazon, you should consider the Amazon Credit Card. The online retailer sells just about everything, and often with some of the best prices around. Throw in Amazon’s free shipping on eligible orders, and the days of leaving your home for everyday purchases are gone. Let’s take a closer look at what the Amazon Credit Card has to offer.

  1. If you buy a lot of items from Amazon, you should consider their $99 a year membership called Amazon Prime, which gives you free two-day shipping and access to freebies like the lending library and free streaming of movies, TV shows, and music. This would be worth your money if you find yourself often opting for the fastest delivery options or if it will cost more for you to go a brick-and-mortar store to buy the item.
  2. Share Amazon Prime: If the cost of Amazon Prime is too high, split the cost by sharing the service with others. You can add up to four "household" members. Amazon doesn't define what a "household" member means, so it's left up to your discretion.
  3. Free super saver shipping: If you're not in a rush and don't have Amazon Prime, wait until your shopping cart has about $25 worth of goods so that you qualify for the free super saver shipping. It will deliver your items in five to eight business days after the items are available for shipping.

wind turbine vs solar

Should I Go Solar or Use a Wind Turbine

I am often asked which is better - wind turbines, or solar modules. The answer, of course, is that it isn't as simple as stating which technology is better - both have their benefits and drawbacks and which technology is best depends very much on the application and the location of the system. as for commercial scale power production for the national grid - wind turbines are the most obvious solution. Large scale wind turbines are efficient and effective, and can be installed in a variety of locations - including far out to sea, modern turbines are virtually silent and the largest systems can generate in the region of 2 megawatts of power - enough to power over 2,000 homes.

If you’re comparing a small-scale wind power system vs. a grid-tied photo voltaic system
, there are a number of factors to consider.
Small scale wind, in general, is a more challenging application in Maine because it requires both 1) a really good wind site, and 2) a turbine site that is at least 30′ higher than nearby obstructions

Pros of Wind Turbine Generator Systems
  • Produce electricity day or night
  • Less space taken up by the wind turbine
  • Produce more electricity
  • Cost less
    Cons of wind turbine

     More maintenance
    • Moving parts wear out
    • Lighting strikes
    • Propeller noise
    • Shadows flickering
    •  Hazard to birds

  • Pros of Photo voltaic Solar Panel System

    • Almost maintenance free
    • Add more panels easily
Cons of Photo voltaic Solar Panel System
    • Need cleaned
    • Generate electricity only in good sunlight
    • Expensive
    • Takes up more space or land
    • Break easy
